Unibet Secures Sponsorship Agreements with Aston Villa FC and Warwickshire CCC

UK Championship club Aston Villa revealed that the online gambling operator Unibet, a brand of Kindred Group, has become the club’s new principal partner for the 2017-18 season.

The Chief Commercial Officer of the Aston Villa Club Luke Organ, announced how pleased everyone at the club were to partner with Unibet. Mr. Organ also explained such a great thing it was that the club’s fans would be very important to the partnership with the online gambling operator.

The club’s Chief Commercial Officer explained that the club’s size was reflected by the extent of the Unibet’s relationship, so they were all looking forward to testing the data and digital abilities to increase value.

Under the sponsorship agreement, the online gambling brand, which is known as one of the leading online gambling operators up to date, will see their logo appear on the players’ new Under Armour kits. The new home kits of the football club is launched by Albert Adomah, Andre Green, Jack Grealish, Leandro Bacuna and James Chester. Apart from the Unibet logo, the home jersey of the Aston Villa players also features a lion embossed logos on its front and back. A special away kit is also available. It was launched by three players, including Albert Adomah, James Chester and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

The Head of Marketing UK division at Unibet – Sam Mead – confirmed of the sponsorship agreement, saying that the team of the online gaming company was very pleased with the fact that it would be join forces with Aston Villa in a partnership deal that would help the club on its way back to the UK Premier League.

He praised both Aston Villa and Unibet for their rich heritage and explained that their work together would improve the experience of the football club’s fans literally in every aspect of the game. He also confirmed that Unibet is to support Aston Villa fans at the Birmingham area providing them with excellent content and special betting opportunities.

This is not the first sponsorship agreement signed by the online gambling operator. The company has also been announced as the first Official Betting Partner of Warwickshire County Cricket Club. The Kindred Group’s online betting and gaming brand has secured a two-year commercial partnership agreement, under which it will have a presence and provide responsible betting opportunities for the home games of the Birmingham Bears in the NatWest T20 Blast and also on international match days.

The Unibet brand is to appear on the collar of the Birmingham Bears playing shirts’ collars as well as within the Edgbaston stadium bowl. The Commercial Director of the Warwickshire County Cricket Club Gareth Roberts described the brand as one of the largest web-based bookmakers on the territory of Europe and praised the two parties for inking the commercial partnership deal.
